  • Warts are a virus that is transmissible from person-to-person. Walking barefoot in a public shower, public swimming pool or wearing an old shoe are common places where wart lives
  • Children and teens account for the majority of plantar wart cases
  • Those who have already had the virus may develop more after they heal
  • Warts more often than not do not go away on their own.
